Lasso

For this tutorial you will need:
PSP 8, 9 or above.
 

Right Click and  the image to either MY PICTURES or MY DOCUMENTS

(This is what is meant by Saving to hard drive)


OPEN THE IMAGE IN ANIMATION SHOP AND GO TO EDIT - COPY THE REASON WE OPEN IT IN ANIMATION SHOP FIRST IS TO KEEP THE IMAGE TRANSPARENT

OPEN PSP 8 OR PSP 9 AND GO TO EDIT - PASTE AS NEW IMAGE

 ON MY LAYER PALETTE I RENAMED MY LAYER BIRD

RIGHT CLICK YOUR BIRD LAYER AND SELECT DUPLICATE

WITH YOUR COPY OF BIRD LAYER HIGHLIGHTED

CLICK ON YOUR SELECTIONS ICON AND CHOOSE THE LASSO   CHOOSE BELOW SETTINGS

 

THIS TOOL WILL FIND THE EDGE FOR YOU - I STARTED AT THE ARROW ( IMAGE ONE )AND WENT ROUND THE WHITE PART OF THE TAIL WITH 3 CLICKS ( SEE IMAGE TWO )  THEN TO THE BOTTOM, OVER LEFT AND UP TO WHERE I BEGAN SO IT JOINS ( IMAGE THREE )

  NEXT  NEXT

PLACE YOUR CURSER (SEE IMAGE 3) AND DOUBLE CLICK - THIS WILL NOW TIGHTEN YOUR MARCHING ANTS AROUND THE TAIL

THE FLOATING LAYER IS NOW HIGHLIGHTED

GO TO ADJUST - ADD/REMOVE NOISE - ADD NOISE

TYPE IN BELOW SETTINGS

 

GO TO SELECTIONS - SELECT NONE

 HIGHLIGHT YOUR BIRD LAYER

USE THE LASSO TOOL AS BEFORE

MAKE SURE FLOATING LAYER IS SELECTED

ADJUST - ADD/REMOVE  NOISE - ADD NOISE - THIS TIME PUT IN 30 %

NOW GO TO SELECTIONS - SELECT NONE

MAKE SURE YOUR BIRD LAYER IS ACTIVE AND GO TO EDIT COPY

IN ANIMATION GO TO EDIT - PASTE AS NEW ANIMATION

HIGHLIGHT YOUR COPY OF YOUR BIRD AND GO TO EDIT - COPY

IN ANIMATION SHOP GO TO EDIT - PASTE AFTER CURRENT FRAME

NOW GO TO VIEW - ANIMATION 

 

GO TO FILE SAVE AS
